Sony Xperia Z triumphed at CES 2013, thanks to its water and dust resistant feature. It is indeed a beautiful phone, is sturdy and has a super efficient camera. The quad core processor lends Xperia a hearty browsing experience, this  is another reason why it has become cynosure of everyone’s eye. However the sore point in the phone was that it was set to launch with outdated version of Android, i.e. 4.1 Jelly Bean. But the recent news from Sony has confirmed that Xperia Z will get updated to Android 4.2 which takes the speed and smoothness of Jelly Bean to another level. “Xperia Z launches on JB 4.1, but will receive 4.2 shortly after launch. As always, we’ll share more info on this over the coming weeks on the blog,” a Sony rep confirmed in a recent Q&A session.
