The update also includes upgraded version of some Sony applications, such as Walkman, Album and Movies as well as refreshed UI, similar to what we have witnessed on the Xperia Z2. The latest update is in addition to the standard KitKat features, including immersive mode and built-in cloud printing support. Meanwhile, Sony has mentioned that the rollout timing will be different depending on market and carrier. So we have to wait a bit before all devices are fully upgraded. The smartphone manufacturer is now scheduled to upgrade its Xperia Z, ZL, ZR and Tablet Z with Android 4.4 with effect from mid-Q2. The KitKat upgrading of the Xperia T2 Ultra, Xperia E1 and Xperia M2 is also on the list of Sony; however, there is no firm timetable yet for the updates on those devices.
