A good low price, Windows Phone 8 operating system, and Nokia’s apps and services are some of the features that make this smartphone a success. An exciting feature of letting users make calls via Wi-Fi using T-Mobile’s coverage makes the device quite appealing. This, however, marks Nokia Lumia 521 to be the first Windows smartphone to get Wi-Fi calling element. Doesn’t that sound interesting? T-Mobile took out a press release to spread the word about having Nokia Lumia 521 in its stores, to ensure that nobody really misses out on the opportunity. The press release read, “Beginning May 22, the Nokia Lumia 521- an exclusive to T-Mobile- will be available online at http://www.T-Mobile.com, at T-Mobile retail stores, select dealers and national retailers for $29.99 down with 24 equal monthly payments of $5 0% APR O.A.C for well-qualified customers with the new Simple Choice Plan.” A device made in class, the T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 521 features 4-inch 245 ppi (pixels per inch) 800 x 480 display. The smartphone operates on 1GHz dual-core processor and offer users 8GB of internal storage along with 512MB of RAM. There’s also a 5-megapixel camera at the back with 720p HD video recording feature. The smartphone has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity. It runs on T-Mobile’s 4G HSPA+ network and offers download speeds of up to 21Mbps. The removable 1,430 mAh battery offers 9 hours of continuous talktime along with 330 hours of standby. The entry level Nokia Lumia 521 smartphone can be bagged at a very good price of $150. There’s also a scheme, where customers make a down payment of $30, and pay 24 monthly installments of just $5 to own the device outright. Sounds like a great scheme. So have you taken your pick?
