The Samsung Galaxy S5 is termed as one of the most premium smartphones available in the market, boasting several high-end features and specifications, making it worthy of the flagship title. The new update supposed to be released by the carrier was aimed at bringing a fix to the issue causing intermittent SMS/MMS message failures. The carrier has still not disclosed the reason why it has decided to pull the update soon after it started pushing it. However, T-Mobile has confirmed that the rolling out of the update “as been paused.” The operator failed to mention whether the pause is a result of delivery issues with the aforementioned SMS/MMS problem or some other issues aroused as a result of the update. T-Mobile has been quoted saying on the Galaxy S5 support page that “The Samsung Galaxy S 5 Software update to G900TUVU1ANE5 via OTA or Kies has been paused. This post will be updated when further details are available.” T-Mobile started pushing the update on May 22 2014, and was supposed to complete the process by June 10 2014, but instead stopped pushing the new software. The Samsung Galaxy S5 is equipped with a 5.1-inch super AMOLED full HD display having a pixel resolution of 1920x1080p and a pixel density of 440 ppi. The smartphone is powered by Android v4.4.2 KitKat operating system, Exynos Octa-core processor (1.9GHz quad-core+ 1.3GHz quad-core), 2GB RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage that is expandable up to 128GB. The smartphone comes with lots of other advanced features, such as water-and-dust resistant IP67 certifications, finger-print sensor, heart rate monitor sensor, 16.0 megapixel rear camera with super fast 0.3-second auto-focus, 2.1 megapixel front camera with full HD video recording and 4K video recording. Additionally, the device has 2800mAh battery with ultra power saving mode that offers talk time of up to 21 hours and standby mode for 390 hours. The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a weight of 145 grams and will be available in Charcoal Black, Shimmery White, Electric Blue and Copper Gold colors. Also read:
