The iPad Mini will have a screen size of 7.85-inch with liquid-crystal display and a lower resolution as compared to the latest iPad. Earlier in September, there were reports that indicated that Asia-based LG Display and AU Optronics had already starting the manufacturing of LCD screens for Apple’s new device. Already a leader in the market, this smaller tablet would surely help Apple further up its sales. Apple is reportedly sending out invitations for its media event, where it plans to unveil the iPad Mini on Wednesday, October 17th.
