- Multitasking: quit multiple apps You can quit running apps by double-tapping the Home button & flicking the offending app upwards. Try multiple fingers for more apps.
3. Notifications begone!
Swipe up to hide all unnecessary notifications.
4. Lock Screen & Home Screen: use panoramic images
Use panoramic (long range) image wallpapers, so the image moves as your phone does. The image must be saved in your Panoramas album. This feature is only available in the iPhone 4S
5. Phone, FaceTime and Messages: block contacts
Add the number to your Contacts, scroll down to the bottom of the screen and tap ‘Block This Caller’ to refuse incoming calls, messages & FaceTime calls.
6. Messages: see the timestamps
Want to know when were your messages sent? Swipe left.
7. Apps: swipe backwards
Once done using an app/msg/screen, swipe backwards to return to the previous page.
8. Location Services: see where you’ve been
Try Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services > Frequent Locations. You’ll see a list and a map, with blue circles showing where you’ve been and when.
9. Newsstand
The app can now be stuck in a folder like Apple’s other stock apps.
10 . Settings: easier on the eye

11. Sounds: get some new tones
