Apple has sought a ban on Samsung products based on the verdict of a jury earlier this year that the Korean manufacturer had infringed Apple’s patents. The jury has asked Samsung to pay $1.05bn (£650m) in damages. However, Samsung has challenged the ruling and with the Judge turning down Apple’s request to ban Samsung from selling its smartphones, it is going to be a long haul for Apple. Koh said, “The phones at issue in this case contain a broad range of features, only a small fraction of which are covered by Apple’s patents.”
