The fitness band was first showcased during the CES 2014 held in the earlier part of the year. The band enables the users to set a personalized daily goal, track progress and get alerts to begin activity. The band is equipped with an always-on, curved display that displays steps, goal countdown, calories, distance and time of day. Vivofit has user replaceable batteries that have a life of more than one year. The band also has water-resistant capabilities of 50m. It can also be connected with ANT+ heart rate monitors in order to track fitness activities.
