Amongst the browser the top dog of 2012 was Safari and Internet Explorer. Both the browsers finished the year on a high note clinching most of the market shares. Though they were at the top of their game in 2012 blood was flowing through other browsers too. Android browser in terms of mobile browsing took the second place with 22% shares. Opera mini dwindled in the year beginning bit got stable at the end of the year with 10% shares. Microsoft got 1% of the share which is commendable it being the beginner in this race. Safari dominates with over 60% share of the mobile browser landscape.
