About 72.6 per cent of Steam’s survey respondents use Window 7 and 8.1 per cent use Vista. At the same time, 11 per cent of customers use Vista even though a growing number of new games such as Assassin’s Creed 3 and Crysis 3 don’t support this OS anymore. Although Windows 8 is picking up as an OS, developers are not positive about this new offering from Microsoft. Mojang co-founder Markus Persson, for instance, said he would rather have Minecraft not run on Windows 8 at all.
