There are a lot of rumors abuzz in the tech world, what with so much information about the BlackBerry 10 being leaked. One such leak of a screenshot of the BlackBerry 10 OS shows RIM’s new Voice Control feature that lets users make phone calls, send SMSs, book appointments or browse the internet by talking to their phones. Also on offer are apps like Google Talk and Twitter for BlackBerry 10 users. Now one of the biggest concerns surrounding the success of the refreshed OS is the number of apps it has to offer. While it’s a long journey to compete with the likes of the App Store or the Google Play Store, what’s encouraging is that RIM managed to get 15,000 apps from developers for its BlackBerry 10 within two days. If that speed is anything to go by, we’re hoping that it could reach the big league soon. There’s also a leaked screenshot from Best Buy Canada that pegs February 28th as the launch date for the brand new BlackBerry 10 smartphones. According to the screenshot, a particular handset has been priced at $799 with Canadian telecom carrier Bell. Given that RIM’s a Canadian company, it’s not surprising that it could be among the first few countries to start selling BlackBerry 10 devices.
