The Galaxy S4’s processor is quad-core and clocks a speed of 1.9 GHz, while the iPhone 5’s is a dual-core 1.3 GHz one. But numbers don’t really mean anything until you actually put them to a test – which is what people around the world have already started. According to Macrumors, there’s absolutely no comparison between the two as the A6 processor lags far behind in the performance benchmarking tests. The A6 processor scored 1596 on a Geekbench 2 test, while the Snapdragon 600 had nearly twice the score of 3163. Samsung also plans to use its very own 8-core Exynos 5 1.6 GHz processor in some versions of the Galaxy S4, and we can be sure that it would far exceed the A6’s performance. Apple lovers, jealous much?
